Textured Brass & Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings

These handcrafted mixed-metal earrings combine cool sterling silver with warm brass in a contemporary geometric design. The upper square is fabricated from sterling silver and given a fine hand-textured finish that catches the light, while the lower brass square features an abstract pierced pattern of small circular openings connected by hand-cut lines.

Both sections have softly rounded corners and are joined so they move independently, giving the earrings a little movement as they are worn. The contrast between the bright sterling silver and golden brass adds another dimension to the simple geometric shapes.

The brass has been sealed to help resist tarnishing and preserve its warm finish. Sterling silver ear wires complete the design.

At only 3.8 grams each, these earrings have plenty of visual presence while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Each pair is individually handcrafted by me in my studio in the U.S.A. From cutting, piercing, and texturing the metals to fabricating the individual components and completing the final finish, every step is done by hand. Slight variations in the hand-worked surfaces are part of what makes each pair unique.
