Enamel, 24K Gold & Sterling Silver Necklace

Color, pattern, and texture come together in this one-of-a-kind enamel necklace. The round copper disk is layered with shades of green enamel and accented with fused 24K gold foil, creating an abstract design with wonderful depth and variation.

The enamel is kiln-fired onto copper, with a final clear layer of glass fired over the surface to protect the delicate gold and preserve the design. I set the finished enamel disk in a substantial sterling silver frame with handcrafted prongs, allowing the colorful enamel and gold details to remain the focus.

The pendant hangs from a simple black leather cord, which gives the piece a contemporary, slightly earthy feel and provides a strong contrast to the greens and gold.
