Black Enamel Silver Earrings

These handcrafted, long drop earrings, are Enameled copper with a black color with a dusting of white. Fused to the copper are Sterling Silver balls. Above, the earring hangs on molten Sterling Silver discs. The post ear wires and jump rings are solid sterling silver.

Vitreous enamel is a fused glass coating applied to a copper metal surface, creating a durable and non-porous finish. The enamel glass powder is fired in a very hot kiln, layer by layer, allowing the fused enamel to cool, before adding more color. The enamel comes in many colors, so the possibilities of design are endless. Perfect for adding a pop of color and elegance to any outfit.
