Sea Sediment Jasper Earrings

These handcrafted sterling silver earrings feature genuine Sea Sediment Jasper gemstones. Their vibrant turquoise-blue color is often mistaken for turquoise, but these are Sea Sediment Jasper gemstones, each with its own distinctive natural patterns and character. The textured sterling silver has been hand-textured and oxidized (blackened) to highlight the details of the design.

Sea Sediment Jasper is particularly interesting because of its connection to ancient marine environments, where layers of mineral-rich sediment accumulated and transformed over time. Those natural mineral deposits contribute to the varied colors and intricate patterns that make each stone unique.

The backs are stamped with my maker's mark and .935 silver hallmark, and the ear wires are solid sterling silver.
