Green Enamel Earrings, 18K Gold Accents

This pair of earrings are a rich green, fired with layers of translucent green Enamel. It is accented on each side with three dots of solid 18K gold on each earring. The ear wires are 14kGF.

Vitreous enamel is a fused glass coating applied to a copper metal surface, creating a durable and non-porous finish. The enamel glass powder is fired in a very hot kiln, layer by layer, allowing the fused enamel to cool, before adding more color. The result is one of a kind design. The enamel comes in many colors, so the possibilities of design are endless.
